How do I sign up for the intensive ?
You need to fill the inscription form and we will get back to you with additional workshop information and payment procedures.
The “Chubbuck intensive workshop” is given by Frank Feys, founder of the Actors Workshop. Frank is the only accredited teacher of the Chubbuck technique in Spain with 20 years experience as a teacher and over 60 Tv and film credits.
The Chubbuck Technique teaches actors how to use their emotions not as an end result, but as a way to empower a goal. The actor must understand himself thoroughly and have the tools to break down a script in order to make interesting and dynamic behavior appear and feel like a subconscious process. The Chubbuck Technique stimulates this behavior, allowing for this natural and powerful human drive to be realized.
Some of the actors that are using the Chubbuck Technique are Academy Award winners and nominees: Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron, Terence Howard, Jake Gyllenhaal, Elisabeth Shue, Catherine Keener, Kate Hudson, Jon Voight, Djimon Hounsou and Travis Fimmel.
Only Students that have completed the 3-day Intensive Chubbuck workshop are eligible to join the intermediate or advanced weekly classes at the Actors Workshop.
Absolute beginners are adviced to audit one of the 3-day intensives.
